Bobcats Are Headed to Postseason Gridiron Play

For the first time in any of the players' high school careers, the South Loup Bobcat football team is headed to the playoffs. The last time the Bobcats qualified for playoff football was 2018, when this year's senior class we’re still in eighth grade.

Bobcats Send Three to State Cross Country Meet

Despite the cooler temperatures and the fierce winds, the South Loup Bobcat cross country team ran incredibly well at the District D5 tournament in Cambridge last Thursday, qualifying three runners for the state competition in Kearney.

Busy Week at The Net, Still Sitting Top of MNAC

The Lady Bobcat volleyball team had a long week of play, traveling to number 2 ranked Cambridge, down to Southern Valley, and up to Loup City. Last Tuesday, the Cambridge Trojans hosted the Bobcats and Maxwell Wildcats for a triangular.

Bobcat Runners Take MNAC Championship & Runner-Up

The South Loup high school and junior high cross-country teams hosted the Mid-Nebraska Activities Conference (MNAC) meet at Arnold last week and brought home top honors, including team conference champions for the high school girls, and team runner-up for the high school boys.

Big Night for Pandorf as Lady Bobcats Win Two

After shaking off the funk of a twogame losing streak, the Lady Bobcats volleyball team (12-5) found themselves back on top last Tuesday during a home triangular against Sandhills Valley and Twin Loup.

Bobcats Place at UNK Meet for First Time

Even through the hills, crowds, and jitters of running on a difficult course at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, the South Loup Bobcats cross country team persevered and had an excellent showing at this meet last Monday.

Busy Week for Bobcat Volleyball Team

In a week with ups and downs and the festivities of homecoming tiring them out, the South Loup Lady Bobcat volleyball team extended their winning streak to eight consecutive games, before losing two straight in Sutherland on Saturday.

Individual statistics for this week were not available by press time.

Tuesday brought an easy win 2-0 over Elm Creek in Callaway. The Lady Bobcats stayed ahead both games, with the threat of a loss never in sight. The final score of each set was 25-13 and 25-19.
