Lady Bobcats Face Week of Adversity

The South Loup girls basketball team (1-4) lost a close game against Medicine Valley on the road Friday, losing by a mere 5 points. After a strange week filled with bad weather, illness and a canceled game against SEM, the Lady Bobcats fought hard each quarter to come up a tad short, 33-38.

Bobcat Wrestlers See Successful Weekend

The Bobcat wrestlers traveled east this past weekend - to Sargent for the Twin Loup Invite on Friday, and to Merna for the Anselmo-Merna Coyote Invite on Saturday - and brought home a handful of hardware.

The South Loup Lady Bobcats had back-to-back road games this past weekend, traveling to Cambridge on Friday and Pleasanton on Saturday. Friday’s game was a thriller, and after three overtimes Cambridge came out with the victory, 54-62.

The South Loup Bobcat basketball teams opened their seasons on Friday at home against conference rivals Twin Loup. The girls won by a score of 53-40, and the boys ran away with their win by a score of 62-30.

Bobcats Earn 2nd Place in Bowling Competition

The South Loup Bobcats unified bowling team saw their season come to an end on Wednesday, Nov. 30. The team concluded their season with a 4th place finish at the district tournament in Grand Island. Congratulations Bobcats on a great season!

The South Loup boys basketball team is looking ahead to the 2022-23 season and a chance to build on successes and avenge some close losses from last season, and build up a strong group of lowerclassmen to become competitive players.

New Coaches Looking For Leadership From Five Seniors
