Bobcats Suffer Tough Lossto Mustangs

Body On Friday, Feb. 16, the South Loup Bobcats traveled to Sumner to take on the SEM Mustangs in the last regular season game of the year. The two rivals have good seasons of their own, and both are conference runners- up in their respective conferences.

Bobcats Wrestlers Finish 3rd in LC Duals

Body The South Loup wrestling team traveled to Loup City on Friday, Feb. 2, participating in a dual tournament and their final regular season meet. The Bobcats finished in third place in the 10-team tournament, defeating Central Valley in the third-place match.

Lady Bobcats Split Last Week’s Games

Body You can't lose the contest if you win every quarter, and that was precisely South Loup's strategy against the Mullen Broncos on Friday, Feb. 2. The Lady Bobcats walked away with a 36-26 win over the Broncos. The win made it back-to-back wins for South Loup.

Bobcats Finish as Conference Runners-Up

Body Last week the Mid Nebraska Actvities Conference (MNAC) met in Broken Bow for the annual conference basketball tournament. On Monday, Jan. 22, the South Loup Bobcats and Brady Eagles met in Callaway for the first-round game.
