Old-Time Radio Show Returns To Callaway

The students and staff of Callaway Christian Academy will once again be hosting a unique learning and fundraising opportunity, with the return of the Old Time Radio Show on Friday, April 12. During this special evening, the students with the help of some community members will be presenting an “Old Time Radio Show” at the Callaway Community Center.

Bobcats Track Opens 2024 Season

On March 21, the South Loup Bobcats traveled to Loup City to compete in the first outdoor track meet of the year. Per usual, the track meet weather would not match up with the forecast, leaving the participants to deal with a cold brisk wind for the remainder of the day.

Their final season record of 16-6 might be a bit deceiving. You see, the South Loup Bobcats had a fantastic season on the basketball court; and their losses? Well, most of those came at the hands of teams who went on to the state championships.

Bobcats Advance to District Finals On Wildcard

South Loup began their sub-district basketball tournament on Tuesday, Feb. 20, with their first-round game against the Sandhills-Valley Mavericks in Ansley. The Bobcats have played the Mavericks twice this year already, looking to repeat the two victories with another.

Mason Brings Home a Medal For The Bobcats

It was a big weekend for the South Loup wrestling team, as they qualified four athletes for the Nebraska State Wrestling Championships in Omaha. The quest for a medal for the foursome began on Thursday morning, Feb. 15.
