Lady Bobcats Split Conference Games

The Lady Bobcats began their busy week of conference basketball on Monday, Jan. 27, when they traveled to Mullen to meet the number two seed Lady Broncos in the first round. The Bobcats were never able to get rolling against the tough Mullen defense, managing to get only 10 points on the board.

Bobcat Wrestlers Continue to Impress And Improve

The South Loup Bobcats put on an impressive performance at the Central Valley Tournament, with three wrestlers battling tough competition and making strong runs in their weight classes. The tournament's highlight was senior Dawson Mason's (34-3) victory in the 132-pound bracket, where he captured the 1st place spot and contributed 25.0 team points.

Lady Bobcats Continue to Improve on The Court

The Lady Bobcats took on the Arcadia Loup-City Rebels on Tuesday, Jan. 21 in Callaway. Although the Lady Rebels came out with the win in the end, by a score of 36-17, the Lady Bobcats have shown tremendous growth over their season so far.

Lady Bobcats Set Highest Score Yet This Season

The Lady Bobcats basketball team came out fighting strong against the Maxwell Wildcats on Jan. 17. The girls had a very strong first half, scoring 15 points in the first quarter down by only three against a strong team with a 6-8 record.
