South Loup played host to a nine-team golf tournament in Arnold on Friday, April 11. The Bobcats finished in 6th place in the team standings as unfortunately none of the team members finished individually in the top 10.

Sutherland had the low team score on the day, and the number one golfer of the tournament was Grady Dempcy of Sutherland.

Haydn Stretesky was the top Bobcat golfer, carding a 91 to finish in 13th place overall.

Harper Johnson was only two strokes behind him with 93 to finish in 18th place.

Scores for the remaining South Loup golfers were Jamie Tickle, 99; Crew Witthuhn, 100; Bo Brennan, 105, and JV Callan Witthuhn, 107.

The Bobcats were back on the course on Tuesday, April 15 at Broken Bow. Results of that meet were not available at press time.

They are back on the road today (April 17) at Hershey before having a full week off prior to their next tournament at Sandhills/Thedford on Thursday, April 24. Play will begin at 10 a.m.
