The South Loup Lady Bobcats began their 2024-25 season with back-to-back home games. Unfortunately, they couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener on Dec.

On Friday, Nov. 1, the South Loup Bobcats faced off against the Summerland Bobcats at Ewing in the second round of the football playoffs. Unfortunately, the Bobcats saw their season come to an end with a 46-0 loss; however, the team turned in an impressive performance throughout the season.

On Thursday, Oct. 24, the South Loup Bobcats scored a 22-14 victory in a firstround playoff matchup against the Perkins County Plainsmen in the NSAA State Football Championships (Class D1) tournament.

On Friday, Oct. 25, seven South Loup cross country runners competed at the Nebraska State Cross Country meet in Kearney against a total of 243 other competitors. The state meet has a lot of very tough competition and only places the top 15 from a field of more than 100 runners.

The Ainsworth Bulldogs hosted the South Loup Bobcats on Oct. 22 for a 5-set game.

On Friday, Oct. 18, the South Loup Bobcats delivered a commanding performance, defeating the Arcadia Rebels with an outstanding score of 56-0 in their final regular season game at Callaway.
