Children need good food all year long, even when they are not in school. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) provides healthy meals to children, ages one to 18, free of charge.

As of Jan. 22, there are six males, no females, and no others in Custer County Jail.

The Callaway Community Foundation exists solely to promote the Callaway community by supporting projects and individuals that exemplify the unique qualities of this town. A group of volunteers who make up the foundation’s board meet monthly to come up with ideas on how to do that, and ideas for raising the funds needed to accomplish those goals.

Callaway Public School has released the first quarter honor roll for grades 5-12. The following students qualified for that distinction during the first quarter of the 2023-24 school year.
