Echo 1 was a mylar balloon whose purpose was to bounce radio signals back to earth in the first attempt to create a communications satellite. The Callaway High School FFA chapter hosted its final meeting of the 2025-26 school year and recognized several members with awards on Thursday, April 9. Along with awards, the officer team for 2026-27 was announced as FFA members, their families, and community members came together for the 9th annual FFA Banquet at the Callaway Community Center.
