IMPROVEMENTS, INCREASES, AND NEW RULE

Body The Custer County Ag Society has been working on two specific projects in recent weeks to improve the fairgrounds for both those showing and those choosing to stay on the grounds.
The Custer County Fairgrounds will be a hopping place for the next couple of weeks, with animal shows, entertainment, food and exhibits welcoming several hundred people to the grounds each day.

Upcoming Events

Body The Callaway Lutheran Church will be commemorating its 50th anniversary this Sunday, July 12. The celebration will begin with its regular 9:30 a.m. service with Bishop Scott Johnson giving the sermon. A brunch will be served in the fellowship hall following the service.

Recycling Center Stays Open

Body The fate of the Custer County Recycling Center has been a source of discussion and a little contention for the past few months as the Board of Supervisors tries to determine how to resolve the financial woes of the facility.
