Body Roberta Ann Nansel, age 89, passed away on Aug. 7, 2024, in Grand Island. Roberta’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, Aug. 24, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Kearney with Pastor Matt Fowler officiating.

Body age 84, of O’Neill, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024, at home surrounded by family. Fred was born on April 27, 1940 in Arnold, to George E. and Dorothy M. (Booker) Morrison. Fred grew up and attended schools in Callaway, Arnold, Lawton, and Kimball.

Body Mitchel Dean Geiser, age 70 of Arnold, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on July 11, 2024, surrounded by family at the UNMC in Omaha after a long-fought battle with cancer. Mitch was born on Sept. 15, 1953, in Arnold, to Lyle and Viola (Scott) Geiser.

Body Rodney Ray Longmore, 70 of Callaway, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the Callaway Good Life Center in Callaway. He was born on July 9, 1953, in Sutherland to Clarence Lewis and Ruby May (Matson) Longmore.

Body of Callaway, passed away on May 15, 2024, surrounded by family. Norman was born on March 14, 1941, to Carl and Wilma Johnson of Callaway. He was the oldest of six siblings. Norman graduated from Callaway High School in 1959. He married Wanda Pracht on Dec. 5, 1961.

Body of Callaway, died on May 17, 2024, at the Callaway District Hospital. She was born on Jan. 15, 1943, to Marion and Lucille (Cool) Cantrell. Nancy was born at her Grandpa Hiram and Grandma Hazel Cool’s home in Callaway. Nancy started school at Upper Lodi School, east of Callaway.
