Body
When I was in my younger days, I weighed a few pounds less, I needn’t hold my tummy in to wear a belted dress. Bu now that I am older, I’ve set my body free; There’s comfort of elastic where once my waist would be.

Masonic Temple is Getting a New Look And New Purpose

Body
The Masonic Temple has been a fixture in Callaway for almost as long as there has been a town. In recent years, as the Lodge membership has dwindled, the building has not been used much and has fallen into disrepair. That is changing, and so is the appearance of the old building.

Body

From The Capitol: From Pasture to Policy

Body
Although the session has adjourned, work at the Capitol continues through interim studies. These studies allow senators and committees to take a deeper look at issues that may lead to legislation in future sessions. Any senator or committee can introduce a study resolution, which is then assigned by the Executive Board to the appropriate standing committee or, in some cases, to a select interim committee if the issue falls outside a standing committee’s jurisdiction.

Enjoy a Great Breakfast, Help The Good Life Center

Body
The Callaway Good Life Center is also a vital part of our local economy, employing many community members and supporting the flow of wages to local service providers. Like many nursing homes, Callaway Good Life Center has struggled with a shortage of staff, often having to rely on costly agency workers to ensure quality care for its residents. At the same time, Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement rates have failed to keep pace with the increasing costs of providing care, leaving a significant financial gap.
