Children attending the Callaway Christian Academy had an opportunity last week to learn about the history of broadcasting and some fun tricks for sound effects, all while providing entertainment for the public.

I have had so many people tell me that I will love being a grandma. The most common comments are that “it’s the best” and “you get to have all the fun of spoiling them and then sending them home.” The message is loud and clear that being a grandma, or as I prefer to be called, Gigi, is going to be the best role of my life.

My wife and I went back to the hotel where we spent our wedding night. Only this time, I stayed in the bathroom and cried.

Justin and Jincy Ross of Callaway are thrilled to announce the arrival of their daughter, Stella Mae, born on March 1, 2023, at 6:38 p.m. at Great Plains Health in North Platte. She was 8 pounds 2.2 ounces and 21.25 inches long.

Carla Kimball, Amber Harrison and Christie Pitkin presented information on the Central Nebraska Economic Development District’s digital program during a meeting at the Seven Valleys Senior Center in Callaway on March 1.

Callaway FCCLA members will be selling Little Caesars pizza kits from now through March 27. Payment of the pizza kits is due at the time of the order.
