Lady Bobcats Drop Two Tough Contests

Heading into the final week of 2025, the Bobcats battled hard but came up short against two tough opponents, falling to Medicine Valley at home and Brady on the road. Despite some positive moments in both games, the beleaguered Bobcats will have to look to the second half of their season to find some wins.

The South Loup Bobcats rebounded from a tough home loss to Medicine Valley to dominate their next two games and bring home the championship trophy from the Maxwell Holiday Tournament. South Loup opened the weekend against a sharp-shooting Medicine Valley squad and came up short, 38-65.

Bobcats Drop Contest on Home Court

The South Loup Bobcats hosted Medicine Valley on Friday night in Arnold, where an aggressive Raider squad handed the Bobcats a 65–38 loss on their home court. Medicine Valley built an early lead behind the confident offense, taking a 34–18 advantage into halftime.

BOBCAT WRESTLERS GAIN MOMENTUM AND MEDALS

The South Loup Bobcats wrestling squad continued to build experience and confidence on the mat with back-to-back tournament appearances at the Twin Loup Invitational and the Anselmo-Merna Coyote Invitational, highlighted by multiple podium finishes and strong individual performances.

So Close For Lady Bobcats as Season Begins

The South Loup Lady Bobcats kicked off the 2025 season on their home court on Friday, Dec. 5, as they hosted the Twin Loup Wolves. The game proved to be a battle to the finish, and when the final buzzer sounded, it was the Wolves getting the win in a tight 35-33 game.
