Body The South Loup Bobcats capped off a strong weekend of basketball with a pair of well-earned wins, hamstringing the Mullen Broncos in a 54–45 victory on Friday, Feb. 6 before hitting the road to take a 60–46 win over Southern Valley on Saturday, Feb. 7.

Bobcats Split MNAC Tournament Games

Body The South Loup Bobcat boys basketball team concluded its MNAC tournament run with a split on the week, falling to Mullen on Monday, Jan. 26 before bouncing back with a decisive win over Arthur County on Friday, Jan. 30.

Lady Bobcats Show Their Grit in Busy Week

Body It was a challenging week of road contests for the Lady Bobcats this week, and the team showed some grit and fire despite two tough losses — a 46-31 defeat to Arcadia/Loup City and an overtime heartbreaker to Ansley-Litchfield, 43-42.

Bierman Tops Home Tournament: Coleman Nabs Fourth

Body The Bobcat wrestlers didn’t have far to go as they sparred in their lone tournament last week. All seven athletes competed in their own South Loup Invite on Friday, Jan. 23 and ended the day with a pair of medals for their efforts.
