Hanson’s Final Meeting As CPS Superintendent

After serving the Callaway school district for the past five years, Superintendent Bryon Hanson bid farewell to the school board in his final meeting on Tuesday, June 11. He offered his final thoughts at the conclusion of the monthly board meeting.
Bryon Hanson served the Callaway school distrct as Superintendent for the past five years, and is known for his willingness to have fun and get involved. A Treat For The Taste Buds

More than 1,300 people took advantage of the beautiful weather on Saturday, June 1, to listen to some good music and eat fantastic BBQ. Though a rain shower moved through that morning, the skies cleared off by early afternoon and the annual Blowin’ The Doors Off BBQ went off without a hitch.
Summer means BBQ, and if you have lived in these parts for long you know that on the first Saturday of June each year Oconto is the place to be! Josie Reiff is a 2024 graduate of Callaway High School. One of the final projects of their senior year requires the students to do a presentation to the student body about themselves, their future plans, and their time at CPS.

First Ones In…New Pool Now Open

The people of Callaway gathered together on Saturday, June 1, to celebrate a major accomplishment for their little town. The Callaway Chamber of Commerce and Pool Committee hosted a ribbon cutting for the new swimming pool, followed by an inaugural swim.

We find ourselves in a rather different situation. Our regular meeting which was scheduled for the third Monday of the month had to be postponed due to a funeral which involved several members.
