Members are pleased to announce the completion of the railing project along the ramp at the front entrance. Tom Smith spearheaded the project with Dan Trumbull building and installing the railing. Funding for the railing was provided by an anonymous donor.

Treasurer Chris Johnson is working with several corporations involving their various grant programs that donate supplies to non-profit organizations such as the Museum. Office Max of Kearney fulfilled a corporate commitment of community involvement by providing a large bag of office supplies when Chris visited the store and asked about their programs. The Historical Society is very grateful for this donation.

Other corporations require lists of needed supplies and those forms have been submitted.

The newest Museum project is pursuing the feasibility of installing a heavy protective glass over the stained-glass windows in the historic Episcopal Church.

The front window display at the main building is changed every two months, be sure to check it out; presently it showcases Callaway Bears sports memorabilia.

Meetings of the Seven Valleys Historical Society are held on the fourth Monday of odd numbered months at 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend; paid members have voting privileges.
