Game & Parks Urges Caution In Handling Sick Birds

People are encouraged to use caution until further notice as avian influenza continues to affect waterfowl and other bird species statewide, a statement released by Nebraska Game and Parks warns. Affected birds have been reported across the state in recent weeks.

Callaway Good Life Welcomes New Administrator

Todd Sutherland, a native of Elm Creek, has joined Callaway Good Life Center (CGLC) as the nursing home administrator. Sutherland has held multiple management positions since his graduation from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelors of Arts in Industrial Distribution.

Area Students Among UNK Winter Graduates

Graduate and undergraduate degrees were conferred for 405 winter graduates at University of Nebraska at Kearney commencement exercises on Friday, Dec. 16, at UNK’s Health and Sports Center.
