Body On Friday, April 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Michelle Brestel, Micki Newton, and Mary Smith will be hosting a “Spring Fling” at the Callaway Senior Center. You can find homemade baked goodies, handmade items and Easter decorations, just to name a few items.

Body Editor’s Note: Each CHS senior is doing a career presentation, in which they share their future plans and life goals - a requirement for the Senior College Prep class. The seniors then give the presentation to the entire student body.

Body Richard and Paige Schweitzer of Arnold happily announce the birth of a daughter on March 20, 2023, at Gothenburg Health. Jayelle Marie Schweitzer was born at 1:28 p.m. weighing 7 pounds 1 ounce and measuring 19 inches in length.

Body A friend sent me a poem titled “Facts of Life” by Padraig O Tuama. I loved the 1980’s TV sitcom by the same name, so it was no surprise that the poem resonated with me as well.

Body There are dogs, and then, there is thee dog. I’d be willing to bet that as you read this, your mind’s eye is picturing a beloved canine that proves this statement to be true.
