These are from a book called “Disorder in the Court”. These are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters.

Everyone we know, meet, or pass in the grocery store has their own set of personal life experiences that are unique from our own. We all come from different places, have our own set of genetics, and have different parents or families, which is part of what makes us unique from each other. We can even have different experiences than our siblings who grow up in the same home as us.

Thistle. The name itself brings up all kinds of derogatory images in my head. Thistles are bad. At least that is the knee jerk reaction for landowners who spend hours and a lot of money trying to eradicate the darn things.

A bacterial infection. I hadn’t thought of a bacterial infection. I was sure, with my internet medical degree, that I had a viral infection, the flu or Covid. My symptoms were a low-grade fever and fatigue, and occasionally, when I would cough, a short-lived headache. All the things I had when I had Covid…so I was sure it was viral.
