The South Loup cross country team traveled to Broken Bow on Saturday, Sept. 13, where they competed at the Broken Bow Invitational. The tough field of runners consisted primarily of Class C schools, but the Bobcats held their own.

It was a busy week of volleyball for the Lady Bobcats as they traveled to Gothenburg on Thursday, Sept. 11, to take on the Class C powerhouse Swedes before hosting their own tournament on Saturday.

The Bobcats continue to seek their first win of the 2025 football season, as they lost in a heartbreaker to Perkins County on Friday, Sept. 12.

9/18 - Cross County at Ravenna, 4 p.m. 9/19 - Football at Arnold v.

South Loup was dealt their second loss in as many games on Friday, Sept. 5, when they hosted the Hi-Line Bulls in Arnold.

9/11 - Volleyball at Gothenburg, JV 6 p.m.; Varsity 7 p.m. 9/12 - Football at Grant, 3:30 p.m.

The young Lady Bobcats volleyball team is still looking for their first win of the 2025 season, having lost on their home court to Hi-Line on Friday, Sept. 5.

The South Loup cross country team traveled to Cozad on Thursday, Sept. 4, to compete in the Cozad Invitational. Though the temperatures were cooler than the team experienced in their first outing of the season, the Bobcat athletes ran well and earned several medals.

It was the battle of the Bobcats, as South Loup opened their 2025 football campaign on the road at Hemingford on Friday, Aug. 29.

The 2025 high school cross country season is off and running for the South Loup Bobcats, who traveled to Burwell on Friday, Aug. 28, for the first meet of the year.
