Body It is always interesting to see how many people visit our area museums and historical sites each year, as well as where they come from. According to data compiled at the Gothenburg Historical Museum, this past summer 13 of those visitors were not people at all, they were pets.

Body If you’ve been paying attention to the “out of doors” lately you have probably seen a bunch of dragonflies. This is the “season” for them. As adults, dragonflies fly around and feed on small insects, particularly mosquitoes.

Body “Go big red!” Right! We’re in Nebraska. But as a naturalist I would have to say for Nebraska we should say “Go Big Yellow!” We don’t have a lot of natural reds this time of year, but the color yellow is everywhere.
