The following cases have been reported as closed by the Custer County District Court Clerk for the month of August. Aug.

The Custer County Jail reported four male inmates and two female inmates as of Sept. 22, 2025, according to Custer County Sheriff Dan Osmond.

Custer County Foundation presented a $5,000 check to Eli Rogers, for the Nebraska Early Reading Development (N.E.R.D) program to fund the Dolly Parton Imagination Library for Custer County’s youngest children. The Nebraska Corn Growers Association (NeCGA) gathered more than 700 signatures during this year’s Husker Harvest Days in support of key legislative priorities for corn growers across the state. The signatures advocate for priorities that directly impact growers, including year-round, nationwide access to E-15 fuel, the implementation of vital trade agreements and updates to Farm bill provisions.
