Annual Family Reunion Held at Senior Center

Body The annual Bunk - Nansel family reunion was held at the Callaway Senior Center on July 19, 2026, with 22 in attendance. This year only two of the first Nansel cousins attended - Cliff Meads and Linda Lawrence.

Callaway Named Regional TeamMates Chapter of The Year

Body The TeamMates Mentoring Program hosted its annual conference July 8-9 on the Nebraska Innovation Campus in Lincoln. Founded by Tom and Nancy Osborne, TeamMates is a mentoring program in partnership with local schools that pairs adult mentors with youth in grades 4-12.

Body Everyone is invited to Callaway Lutheran Church’s annual Corn Boil on Sunday, July 26, at the Callaway Community Center. The Corn Boil will include sweet corn, sausage, potatoes, and ice cream. Doors open at 11 a.m. and serving will end at 2 p.m. or when the food is gone.

Boeser Shines Under National Rodeo Spotlight

Body Those who pursue rodeo life say “it gets in your blood”. Perhaps that has never been more true than in the case of Quinton Boeser. You see, Quinton’s parents - Roni and Chancey Boeser - met while both were competing in rodeo for Pratt Community College in Kansas.
