The annual Bunk - Nansel family reunion was held at the Callaway Senior Center on July 19, 2026, with 22 in attendance. This year only two of the first Nansel cousins attended - Cliff Meads and Linda Lawrence.

A memorial tribute was read for the family members who passed away during the past year, Linda Meads and Craig Meads.

Family members present were: Don and Paige Coash of Bassett; Lana Lambley and Rick Aupperle both of North Platte; Rachel Lambley and son, Ian of Gordon; Sue DeLosh of Arnold; Donnell DeLosh, Randi Plooster and Bexley and Dekker DeLosh of Arnold; Kevin and Pat Nansel of Grand Island; Lance and Diane Stryker of Callaway; Linda Lawrence and Dana Lawrence of Callaway; Ron and Deb Dobesh of Kearney; Cliff Meads of Elm Creek; and Diane Heddinger and Bernita Meads of Kearney. A good potluck dinner was served and a great afternoon of visiting. We will meet again on July 18, 2027.
