Lady Bobcats to Host Camp

Body The South Loup Lady Bobcats are hosting a Hoops Camp on July 15 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Open to girls entering second through sixth grade, aspiring hoopsters will learn the basics of the game and have a lot of fun.

After Nine Years Donations Pay Off

Body The Callaway FCCLA announced on July 7 they have reached a big milestone. For the past nine years, the organization has been collecting pop tabs and those who have donated helped them reach their goal of 1,000,000 tabs.

Changes to School Lunch in 2022

Body Callaway Public Schools has announced that as they understand, beginning with the 2022-23 school year, the USDA will not be providing breakfast and lunch to all students who attend school.

Gearing Up For The Custer County Fair

Body The culmination of the hard work of area 4-H and FFA kids is nearly here. The Custer County Fair kicks off a week from today, July 21, with the annual 4-H fashion show at Broken Bow’s Evangelical Free Church leading off the week-long schedule of events.

Busy Month Reaps Rewards for Village of Callaway

Body It has been a very busy few weeks in Callaway, with the community hosting two large bike riding tours, alumni weekend and the annual Pioneer Picnic. Add to the mix a hail storm that damaged nearly every home in town, and it creates a recipe for a lot of tired individuals.
