Callaway Toppled By Tornadic-Force Winds

Body For the second time in as many years, severe weather has left Callaway residents facing devastation and a massive cleanup. It has also left the townspeople very thankful. Thankful no one was hurt, and thankful for good neighbors.

Severe Storm Damages Callaway...Again

Body A severe thunderstorm packing incredibly strong straight-line winds rolled through Callaway during the early morning hours on Saturday, July 29, leaving residents without power for hours and downed trees all over town in its wake.

Car Show Raffle Benefits New Pool Project

Body Once again this year a raffle was held during the Pioneer Picnic car show in Callaway. The car show is chaired by Lee Bruns. This year’s raffle was a benefit for the Callaway Pool Fund and raised a total of $530.
