Body A major storm rolled through the village of Callaway Sunday evening, June 5, packing strong winds, heavy rain and large hail. As residents emerged from the shelter of their homes after the storm had passed, many discovered mass devastation to their homes and vehicles.

Legion Auxiliary Awards Student Contest Winners

Local Students Named to UNK Dean's List

Body The University of Nebraska at Kearney has announced students who earned a place on the dean’s list for the spring 2022 semester. Students who are on the dean’s list must have completed 12 credit hours or more of classes with a 3.5 grade-point average or better on a 4.0 scale.

Body David and Emily Pandorf of Callaway proudly announce the birth of a son on May 9, 2022. James Michael Pandorf was born in Kearney weighing 7 pounds 4 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches in length. James is joined at home by a big brother, Oliver.
