It’s Nearly Fish Fry Season

Mark your calendars for Friday, March 18 for the Knights of Columbus Fish Fry at the Callaway Community Center. Serving will be from 5:30 - 7 p.m. Cost for adults is $10, ages 6-12 is $5.00, and under 6 is free.

Monthly Birthday Party

The Callaway Senior Center will host their monthly birthday party on Wednesday, March 16 at noon at the center. All seniors are invited. This is a great opportunity for good food and fellowship, and a way to stay connected with your friends and neighbors. The birthday party is held on the third Wednesday of each month at noon.

The 7,932-square-mile Lower Loup NRD is Nebraska’s largest, stretching from the Sandhills 156 miles to just east of Columbus. LLNRD technicians noticed municipal, commercial and irrigation well levels near Columbus falling from 2010 to 2014.
