Oconto 4-H'er Earns Reserve Champion

Dawson County’s contingent to the District 4-H Horse Show in Kearney was 10 4-H’ers, but all were successful in qualifying for the State Competition in July and were able to bring home trophies.
Taylor Kramer of Oconto competed in the Junior Division and received the reserve champion trophy in poles. He also earned a blue ribbon in Hunter Under Saddle, a red ribbon in Hunter Seat Equitation, a blue in Western Pleasure Horses, purple in Ranch Pleasure and blue in Barrel Racing.
4-H’ers must earn a purple or blue to qualify to compete at the State 4-H Horse Expo in Grand Island.
