New Daycare Set To Open Next Week

The first day of the 2023-24 school year at Callaway Public School is a week from today, Aug. 17, and parents who have benefited from summertime teen babysitters, are about to lose their help. Luckily 7 Valley Kids Daycare is ready to step in and fill the void.

The Nebraska State Patrol is now hiring troopers! Applications are open this month to join NSP’s next training academy class in January. “A career of opportunity is calling for anyone ready to serve the people of Nebraska,” said Colonel John Bolduc, Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol.

Making Way For The New Pool

Demolition began last week on the old Callaway swimming pool, and a week from now it is expected to all be gone. That will make way for the town’s new pool, with construction set to begin immediately following demolition.
