Greetings from Germany! By the time this column reaches you, Hubby and I will be winging our way home from a wonderful nine days spent in Germany and Belgium. We left last week to fly to Germany for the wedding of our 2012 IFYE to Nebraska from Germany, Chiara Wagner.

Those attending were in for a treat, as the world’s largest flag kite was launched on Sunday as the crowd and launch team cheered with excitement.

The first Custer County Courthouse was established on the ranch and served the newly formed county until 1881, when the county seat was moved to the new town of Broken Bow.
