The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced on Dec. 19, that agricultural producers can now enroll in the Farm Service Agency’s (FSA) Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs for the 2024 crop year. Producers can enroll and make election changes for the 2024 crop year starting Dec. 18, 2023. The deadline to complete enrollment and any election change is March 15, 2024.

Shotgun Annie's is accepting new unwrapped toys for their 7th Annual Little Wranglers Toy Drive through Dec. 16. Then everyone is invited to come to Shotgun Annie's on Saturday, Dec. 16, for their annual toy party starting at 8 p.m. There will be raffles, including for a boys and girls bike, a silent auction, and a lot of fun to benefit area children at Christmas time.

The youth of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Callaway presented a live nativity scene for the public on Sunday, Dec. 10, in the parking lot of the church.
