Offering Gratitude For What Didn’t Happen

Body After watching my partner complete 33 treatments of radiation, I sat in the waiting room on the last day offering gratitude. Yes, I was relieved the treatments were over. Driving 60 minutes each day to the cancer center was taxing.

Plans Underway For Busy Summer

Body It’s official. With yesterday, May 15, being the last day of school summer break has begun! The state track meet in Omaha this week will be the final activity of the 2023-24 school year for Callaway students.

CHS Students Receive Academic Honors

Body Callaway High School held a program Tuesday morning, May 7, to honor the academic and fine arts achievements of its students during the 2023-24 school year. A special ceremony was also held during the program to induct new members into the prestigious National Honor Society.

UNMC Congratulates 2024 Graduates

Body Diplomas and certificates were conferred on more than 1,100 University of Nebraska Medical Center students during ceremonies held May 2 in Lincoln, Norfolk, and Kearney and May 4 in Omaha and Scottsbluff.
