Shotgun Annie's Permanently Closes

Body
Shotgun Annie’s in Callaway hosted its 8th annual Little Wranglers Toy Drive last month which concluded with a party on Dec. 15. You might say it was the last “hoora” for the business. Owner Candace Burnett announced in a Facebook post that Sunday, Dec. 29, was the final day of business for the restaurant and bar.
The 19-foot long shotgun on the top of the Callaway restaurant and bar was custom crafted by Terry Burnett specifically for Shotgun Annie's Saloon and Grill. (Courier photo by Ellen Mortensen)

The Callaway Volunteer Fire Department will host their annual BBQ Fundraiser on Sunday, Aug. 18, from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Community Center. The ad that ran in the Aug. 15 issue of the Callaway Courier inadvertently had the wrong date, and we apologize for any confusion that may have caused.
