Gary Wayne Eastwood, 71 of Callaway, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 28, 2025, at his home. 

Gary was born on Aug. 15, 1953, in Arnold, to Wylie and Joan (Pearson) Eastwood. He received his education from Callaway Public Schools, graduating from Callaway High School with the class of 1973.

While visiting our middle son and his family in Lincoln this past weekend, I had an opportunity to share some quality time one morning on the front porch, sipping my coffee with my youngest granddaughter. She decided it would be fun to play a game where she was the teacher and we were her students; and with as much matronly authority as she could muster, she proceeded to ask us each a question. 

On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, Trenton Paul Walz of Mullen, died at the age of 45, following a two-and-a-half-year battle with brain cancer.
