The South Loup Bobcats were represented by three girls and two boys at the second annual MNAC vs MAC girls and boys all-star basketball games on June 17 in Sutherland. The all-star games include recent graduates from the Mid Nebraska Activities Conference and the Minuteman Activities Conference.

Ava Pandorf of South Loup finished in double figures for the MNAC with 16 points. Bobcats Taylor Ross and Lauren Johnson also participated in the game in which the MNAC all-stars won 77-44. All 10 girls on the MNAC team scored.

Representing the Bobcats on the MNAC all-stars boys team were Lance Jones and Silas Cool. The MNAC boys lost to the MAC all-stars 77-87.

Area volleyball and football players who recently graduated also participated in an all-star game, held on June 10 in Scottsbluff. The East team came out on top in both of those contests.

Abby Stallbaumer was the lone South Loup representative on the East All-Star volleyball squad, which defeated the West 3-2.

The all-star football game was more lopsided than the volleyball contest, with the East team cruising to an easy victory over the West, 35-7. Lance Jones represented South Loup on the East team.
