South Loup was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday, Dec. 17, as the team picked up their fifth straight loss.

They had to suffer through a 58-15 loss at the hands of the Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to South Loup of the 59-18 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023. It was a tough loss in front of their home crowd.

On Friday, Dec. 20, the Lady Bobcats were on the road to Medicine Valley where they played hard against the Lady Raiders but were unable to contain the Medicine Valley shooters. The Bobcats took the loss 43-22.

No stats for either game were available. The Lady Bobcats continue to work hard toward rebuilding their team with a lot of young players and a first-year head coach.

The girls will be back in action this weekend for the holiday tournament at Maxwell.
