Grapplers Compete at Central Valley Invite
The South Loup wrestlers made some moves at the Central Valley Invite in Greeley last Friday, Jan. 30.
Despite some gritty matches and narrow losses, the Bobcats missed out on bringing home any hardware.
Josiah Coleman presided over the team’s successes, winning three of his five matches to end just short of the fourth-place bout.
Competing against 20 teams from across the area, South Loup faced some familiar faces as well as new ones. Aquinas Catholic ended up taking first overall as a team, chalking up 153.5 points total. Yutan took second with 131 points, and Central Valley came in third with 113.
