After finishing last season with a 2-20 record, the South Loup Bobcats girls basketball team enters the 2025-2026 season with energy, determination, and a strong commitment to growth. The team has 20 players out this year, bringing enthusiasm and motivation to practices and games. While the Bobcats only lost one senior last year—her first year of basketball—her presence was a positive influence, and this year the collective energy of the team promises to drive the program forward.

Coach Ali Goodenow sees leadership potential across the entire roster. “I foresee every single member on our team stepping up this year,” she said. “They all seem to have the same motivation to work hard and to continue positively building our program.”
