The 32nd Annual Mr. and Miss Basketball Kearney All-Star basketball games were played this past Sunday at UNK, with the girl's game tipping off at 6:30 p.m. followed by the boys' game at 7:45.

Two 2024 South Loup graduates were selected to represent their school In the boy's game, Trey Connell and Cache Gracey. The South Loup duo suited up for the blue team who ended up winning the contest in a very close game by a final score of 91-90.

It has been a busy summer of all-star games for both Gracey and Connell. On June 1, Gracey participated in the West Nebraska All-Stars football game. Both Gracey and Connell, along with Rio Remund, were selected for the MNAC All-Star basketball game on May 25. Connell will play in the Sertoma 8-man All-Star game in Hastings on June 15, along with Bobcats teammate Joey Sallach.
