The 2024-25 South Loup wrestling season is underway and the Bobcats have high goals and expectations for this year. Building off of a wealth of experience on the mat, sixth-year Head Coach Todd Phelps will be looking to his senior leadership to guide the ship.

The Bobcats had their first opportunity on Friday, Dec. 6, at the Hi-Line Invitational. As a team they finished in 4th place overall in the 15-team field. Individually, five of the six wrestlers brought home a medal.

The team's two seniors, Dawson Mason and CJ Quandt, both earned gold at the season-opening invite to start off the season on a great note.
