Charles Maze Myers went to be with his Lord on April 4, 2026, surrounded by his family, at the age of 101 years and 17 days. He was born on March 19, 1925, to Troy and Ruth (Maze) Myers at Callaway. He spent his entire life around Callaway. He graduated from Callaway High School in 1942. He farmed with his Dad and brother, Bob.

of Dunning, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at her home after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Jan.

Jerry Edward Weatherly was born on Sept. 21, 1943, at home on a farm four miles west of Callaway, to Ross and Verna (Woodward) Weatherly.

Marland (Jay) Peterson of Elim Valley passed away on Feb. 25, 2026, doing what he loved, driving around the countryside to visit one of his usual stops. He will always be remembered for not knowing a stranger and giving everyone he loved a little bit of grief.

Barbara Fay Connell Patterson, 88 of Callaway, passed away on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at the Callaway Good Life Center.

Karl Lee Reinhard, born on Jan. 6, 1937, in Callaway to John and Maxine Reinhard, passed away on Feb. 12, 2026, in the same beloved town. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who left behind a legacy of hard work, passion for nature, and a commitment to family.

of Elsie, passed away Jan. 26, 2026, at Perkins County Health Services in Grant. Joyce was born Nov. 18, 1946, in Shenandoah, Iowa, to Gale 'Bill' and Christina (Slauter) Rood. She grew up in the area and graduated from Callaway High School.

passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025, surrounded by her husband, Richard (Rich), and daughters, Aimee Lynn and Pamila Jean, after a courageous battle with cancer.
