Dawn Lee Joeckel, 68 of Callaway, formerly of Taylor, Texas, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Callaway United Methodist Church with Jake Roehl officiating. There will be no visitation, as the family is honoring Dawn’s wish for cremation.

A memorial has been established in Dawn’s honor, and kindly suggested to the C.C.F.F. (Pool Fund). She was a pool board member when she lived in Callaway and was excited by the pool project being completed in the summer of 2024.
