A young Bobcat wrestling team begins their 2022-23 season on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Hi-Line Tournament at Eustis-Farnam High School.

With no seniors on the roster, the Bobcat grapplers are looking to their three juniors - Dawson Doggett, who was out all last season with a knee injury; Dylan Handley; and Rio Remund, who is currently sidelined due to a shoulder injury - to lead the team this season.

Returning to the team as sophomores are Dawson Mason, CJ Quandt, Bo Brennan and Kyle Bloomer. And new to the team is Handley, and freshmen Josiah Coleman, Zane Mercer, and Paxton Bierman. There are no girls wrestling for the Bobcats this season.

The Bobcats are coached by Todd Phelps, Gavin Robertson, and Ken Riggler. Comments from Coach Phelps were not available by press time.
