The South Loup boys’ and girls’ track teams opened the 2026 season on Thursday, March 26, as they traveled to Loup City to compete in the Rebel Invitational. The Bobcats had a good showing at the meet, with the girls finishing in 5th place overall in the 12-team field, while the boys ended the day 4th in the team standings.

The ladies came home with three bronze medals on the day, while the boys finished with three silver and two bronze medals.

The Bobcats are back on the track today, April 2, in Elwood. Individual results from the Rebel Invitational are listed below.
