Five Bobcats Thinclads participated at the Best of the Midwest on May 3 at Sutherland High School. The meet allows each of the top eight entered in an event to participate. This year 26 teams sent athletes to the meet.

The Bobcats were led by Cache Gracey who took gold in the 400 meters, Silas Cool who won the 800 meters and took fourth in the pole vault, and Logan Recoy who raced his way to silver in the 1600 meters.

Trey Connell placed fourth in the 1600 and Rio Remund placed seventh in the shot put.

Coach Chesley said he really thought the boys participated at a high level as they tuned up for the district meet.
