The Lady Bobcats basketball team played nearly their entire season without finding themselves on the winning side of the scoreboard. Finally, on Feb. 13, they got the elusive victory - defeating Hi-Line by 20 points.

Unfortunately, South Loup faced #1 seed Overton in the first round of the D1-10 subdistrict tournament on Feb. 17, where they saw their season come to an end.

For five Lady Bobcats, it was the final game in a South Loup uniform. Neltje Reiff, Erin Fitzgerald, Tyra Brestel, and Kelynn and Kaygan Witthuhn ended their high school basketball careers.
