Coach Chesley was very happy with the performance of the boys at the Hershey/St. Pat's Invitational.

The boys were led by Silas Cool's 2nd in the pole vault, 3rd in the 400 meters and 5th in the 200 meters.

Coach Chesley said that Logan Recoy has been crushing workouts and it showed in his performances, 2nd in the 1600 meter run and on the 3200 meter relay.

One of the highlights of the day was the 3200 meter relay, as the quartet of Cache Gracey, Trey Connell, Silas Cool and Logan Recoy again won this event with an improved time.

The Bobcats were missing their throwing standout senior Jake Halstead, down with the flu.

Pedro Flores filled in with a personal best in his first outdoor competition.

Coach Chesley was really encouraged by watching some of the young Bobcats learn and excel in new events.

Ethan Furne in the long jump, A.J. Starr in the triple jump and long jump and Caleb McFate in the 1600 meters showed a lot of promise for the future as they get more practice in these events.

The boys will also be at Elwood for the Hi-Line Invitational on Friday April 1st.
