The Callaway Community Foundation Fund is hosting a co-ed mushball tournament on Saturday, July 15. The event is a fundraiser for the swimming pool project.

Mushball, sometimes referred to as Chicago-style softball, is a variant of softball with a bigger, softer ball and no gloves or mitts worn by the fielders. The tournament will be held at the Callaway Baseball Fields (West side of town) starting at 8 a.m. on July 15. A free-will donation meal will be served at 11 a.m.

Entry fee for the Mushball Tournament is $200 per team, with registration due by Sunday, July 9. To register contact Corby Leeper at 402-533-3961.

There will be a limited number of teams, and players must be at least 16-years-old.
