83 of Silverdale, Washington, passed away on April 28, 2023.

Born to Dominick and Madeline (Romano) Dimeo in Bridgeton, New Jersey, Barbara went on to graduate from Sacred Heart High School in Vineland, New Jersey, and later from Glassboro State Teachers College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in education. She married George A. Shelton in August of 1960 in Bridgeton, New Jersey. Barbara retired after 20 years working as a teacher. In her spare time, Barbara enjoyed gardening, reading, and music.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Matthew Patrick Shelton.

Barbara’s memory will live on with her sons, George Andy Shelton of Grapeview, Washington and Michael Dimeo Shelton of Callaway; brother, Benjamin Dimeo; sisters, Theresa Sibley and Debbie Damico; and four grandchildren.
