Frances Carol Smith was born Aug. 4, 1930, in Wichita, Kansas. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 25, 2023, at age 92. She is survived by her children, Carol A. Ingram (James), Carl L Nickle (Marda), Charlene M. Saunders (Lenny), Cindy F. Nickle and Curtis E. Nickle (Summer); six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and one great-greatgrandchild.

Frances always loved animals and was more than happy to pick up strays of all kinds. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tease and joke with everyone. She loved the Lord. She attended church regularly and was active in church herself. She especially loved singing hymns and participating in Christmas plays. She loved to dance and sing and she always whistled while she worked. It didn’t matter if she was scrubbing the floor or working on one of her wonderful, creative projects, she always whistled a beautiful tune! I’m sure she’s whistling a beautiful tune now! Memorial gifts can be given to the Callaway Community Church.

A memorial service will be held for her on Friday, June 16, at 10:30 a.m. at the Callaway Community Church.
